April 2007-
Yuto sat on the dressing room counter, “Chinen… Yama-chan… lets go to McDonalds after the photo shoot is over”.
Chinen bounced on Daiki’s lap, “Yatta…”
Daiki groaned, “Ouch… Chinen don’t bounce… or else you’ll have to get off.”
Chinen whined, “Dai-chan… don’t be so mean…”
Yamada frowned; he didn’t like the idea of sharing Yuto with anyone but he tried to sound enthusiastic until he heard the words he didn’t want to hear.
Yuto checked his wallet, “Shit…” he counted his cash again, “Sorry guys, I only have enough for two…”
Yamada frowned.
Chinen collapsed against Daiki knocked the air out of the older boy’s lungs.
Angry Daiki snapped, “Why don’t you two just Jan ken for it”.
Both boys sighed as they began; they both pick rock the first time, then paper, scissors and then paper again.
Yuto sighed, “This is soo not working Daiki, you are not helpful at all.”
Daiki glared, “fine… I’m thinking of a number between 1 and 100. What is it...”
Yuto snarled, “That is soo childish…”
Yamada snapped, “52”
Chinen blurt out, “7”.
Daiki shouted, “The number was 2… and the winner is Chinen… now will you all shut up. Chinen if you bounce one more time I swear I will ground you from my lap for a week.”

May 2007-
Kame bounced around with Yuto after the Hey Say performance. “I’ve got just enough to pay for lunch for three who’s coming with us…”
Yuto looked from Yamada to Chinen, “I can’t decided, who do you think is cuter…”
Kame laughed as he spun Chinen in circles, “Chinen is just too adorable… we’ll bring him along then.”

December 2007-
Chinen and Yamada sat glaring at each other.
Hikaru laughed, “Why you two don’t solve this rationally… stop fighting over Yuto and have a sort of contest…”
Chinen propped his head in his hand and glanced at the taller boy, “Like what…”
Hikaru thought about it, “Its Christmas… you both bake right… why don’t you both bring in homemade Christmas cookies and let Yuto decide who’s he like better…”
Yuto walked in on the tail end of the conversation, “Cookies… what about me and cookies…”
Later…
Yamada showed up the next day with sugar cookies made in the shape of hearts and stars.
Chinen burst in with a bulky box of cookies, “Yuto… wan to try one of these” with that he unveiled a box filled with chocolate chip bunnies.
Yuto bounced up and down exclaiming, “Those are the coolest Christmas cookies ever…”
Yamada slammed his cookies down on the counter, whispering, “Why the Hell do I even try… besides what do bunnies have to do with Christmas anyway…”

Late March 2008
It was a warm and Yuto wanted to go on a butterfly hunt so he showed up to with three butterfly nets.
Yamada was intrigued when he saw the nets… “Yuto what are those for… they’re not strong enough for fishing…”
Yuto smiled, “They are for butterfly hunting.”
Chinen looked over from his floor space where he was practicing his no-handed backflips, “Butterfly hunting… I want to come…”
Yuto grinned, “Why do you think I brought three nets… I was inviting both of you.”
Ryutaro and Keito rolled their eyes this rivalry was getting annoying…
They ran for the nearest park after the photo shoot. They ran in circles trying to capture the delicate flying masterpieces.
Chinen caught one; he held the net closed to look at it was really pretty; he called out to Yuto, “Yuto, look what I found…”
Yuto ran over to Chinen, “I don’t believe it… Dichorragia nesimachus or a Suminagashi. They are so beautiful… they shine in the sun like shimmering confetti. I didn’t think we’d find one of those… they’re my favorite.”
Yamada collapsed in a jealous heap, the net dropped beside him.
5.
Yesterday…
Hikaru was chuckling as Inoo, Yabu, Chinen, Yamada and Yuto followed him home. It was a school night but they had decided to have a sleepover anyway. He turned to Yuto, “Hey Yuto why didn’t Ryutaro come…”
Yuto smirked, “He said his mom said no because it’s a school night but I think he was afraid to come because it’s us…”
Chinen pouted, “What do we do that’s that bad…”
Inoo stared him, “Do you really need me to answer that…”
Chinen frowned, “I’m not that bad…”
Yuto snickered, “You can be a slut at times…”
Hikaru tilted his head as he unlocked the front door, “What about Keito…”
Yamada laughed, “Kinpachi-sensei is giving us a Kanji quiz tomorrow and since he flunked the last one he’s afraid of not studying for it…”
Yabu frowned, “His named not Kinpachi it’s…”
Yamada nodded, “I know I just think it’s more fun to call him that…’
Inoo leaned against the doorframe, “Takaki went to spend the night at Rubi’s…”
Yabu was furious… “What… that baka doesn’t get enough sleep as it is…”
Inoo glared at him, “So what… it’s his kid… his life, he can do what he likes- he’s not a child you know.”
Yabu protested, “He certainly acts like one…”
Chinen smirked, “Are you sure about that…”
Yabu shivered with disgust, “Eeewww…”
Hikaru was irritated, “I thought this was supposed a party… I guess I have punish you guys…” as soon as the reached his room he grabbed an empty ramu bottle from his desk, “That’s it we’re playing the bottle now sit. Yamada you’re first.”
Yamada caught the bottle rather clumsily against his chest and sat in the growing circle... he gulped nervously before he spun it.
The whole group laughed when it pointed at Yuto.
Inoo said between helpless giggles, “Now kiss him already”.
Yamada shy scooted over to Yuto, he kissed him… he meant it to be a chaste one on the lips but it quickly dissolved into a wet, sloppy passionate kiss with lots of tongue.
Yuto didn’t release him until they were both breathless…
Yabu glared at them, “Now it’s your turn Yuto now spin.”
Yuto bit his lip hoping it would land on Yamada but was highly disappointed when pointed at Chinen instead.
Chinen squealed pushing Yamada out of his way and setting into Yuto lap, “Kiss me.”
Yuto did as the rules said he kissed him but something wasn’t right… it wasn’t the same.
Hikaru grinned wickedly, “New game… truth or dare. Yuto, went last so truth or dare.
Yuto muttered irritated, “Truth.”
Inoo exchanged a look with Hikaru, “Who kisses better...”
Yuto turned red, “Yama-chan…”
Chinen pouted, “Fine then…” with an angry huff he moved over to Yabu.
“Chinen, truth or dare…” Yuto muttered.
Chinen stared daggers at Yamada, “Dare.”
Yuto looked apologetically at Yabu, “I dare you to give Yabu a lap dance.”
Yabu was furious, “No! I won’t let a 14-year-old give me a lap dance its insane”
Inoo burst into a fresh round of giggles, “But you used to give them to Kat-tun on a regular basis which made Shoon mad as a hornet.”
Yabu glared at the shorter boy, “Inoo…”
Hikaru shifted nervously, “The rules of the games clearly state he must do the dare as instructed.”
Yabu shot a look to Hikaru that clearly said you are going to die…
Chinen gave Yabu the instructed lap dance and then he turned to Yamada, “Truth or dare…”
Yamada was scared, “Ummm… I don’t know… I don’t think I want to play.”
Yabu decided to be evil, “He refused to play that makes it an automatic dare.”
Yamada was terrified…
Chinen was thrilled this was going to be fun, “I dare you to go into Hikaru’s closet blindfold and kiss whoever comes in.”
Yuto was furious, “Chii…”
Inoo sighed, “Yuto… you know the rules he has to do it…”
Yamada swallowed nervously, “Okay… if I have to…”
Chinen snickered, “Oh you do…”
Hikaru tied a handkerchief around the oldest member of Hey say 7 present’s eyes and led him into his closet, “Be careful… you wouldn’t want to hurt yourself.”
When the closet door closed, Yabu turned to Chinen, “Just what are you up to…’
Chinen jumped up, he dragged Yuto towards the closet and shoved him in. Before Yuto could even think of opening the door, Chinen stuck Hikaru’s desk chair under the handle locking him in, “That should keep them occupied for a while.”
The three members of Hey Say BEST were speechless…
Hikaru broke the silence first… “What the hell was that all about…”
Chinen cackled like a wicked witch, “Yamada liked Yuto… he wouldn’t have done anything if I hadn’t be pretending to be his rival. Besides Yuto would have wanted to be fought over anyway, everyone here knows I like Takaki most of all right”.
Inoo stared at him, “I knew you two were fucking but you actually like him…”
Chinen nodded, “I loved Takaki for the woman he is… and the ocasionally manly moments which make life so interestinging.”
In the closet…
Yamada was a little worried who would be shoved in there with him… he was terrified that it would be Inoo or Hikaru…
Yuto was shocked when Chinen grabbed him and threw him in here. He heard a chair move and he tried to open the door but it wouldn’t budge. Yuto waited for his eyes to adjust to the dark as he listened for Yamada's breathing… after a moment, he found him.
Yamada recognized the breathing of the person in there with him he whispered, “Yuto... is that you…”
Yuto smiled to himself as he approached the shorter boy, “Hai... now I believe the dare said you had to kiss me.”
Yamada swallowed, “Didn’t I already do that…”
Yuto pulled Yamada into his arms, “Not really, I want you to kiss me like you mean it.”
Yamada felt his lips meet Yuto’s, his arms wrapping themselves around Yuto’s neck as he kissed him with all he was worth.
Yuto twittered like a girl when they broke apart, “With a kiss like that… maybe I should kiss you more often. I don’t want you to kiss anyone else”
Yamada sputtered, “Does that mean we’re dating…”
Yuto pulled him in for another kiss, “Yes…”
